The Business

As a former owner of a window furnishing business, Alan recognized a market gap in supporting retailers with the daily management of window furnishing sales and jobs. He identified an opportunity to cut down the time required to manage these tasks from hours to minutes. Additionally, since many of these processes were manual, there was a significant risk of human error, potentially costing thousands of dollars in corrections and additional work.

To address this business challenge and offer a market solution, Alan created George, a SaaS platform designed to assist retailers and automate the time-consuming manual processes.

George now delivers a comprehensive management solution for business operations. It streamlines everything from generating the initial quote to producing the final invoice. Much of this process is now automated, allowing businesses to concentrate on more critical aspects. Time is a precious and finite resource, and with George, businesses can minimize time spent on paperwork and devote more time to growing their business and acquiring new customers.

George is a cloud-based platform, entirely built on application services. It integrates with Xero for invoicing and billing, and Power BI for business performance insights, analytics, and reporting. It also leverages various APIs to exchange information with other business partners.

George is an excellent example of Alan's work and his ability to comprehend business requirements and transform them into a practical software solution that assists businesses in reducing costs, mitigating risks, and boosting revenue.
